march 22nd

This morning in Green Fab

  • we re-visited how to power an Arduino using a bread board.
  • then we setup six LEDS and six resistors to the bread board.
  • in order for the LEDS to light up with out burning out the electicity must first go thru the resistor.
  • the resistor and the LED have to be in the same row so the electricity can pass thru the resistor before reaching the LED.
  • then we got our laptops and a USB for the arduino and used the laptops as the power source.

This afternoon in Green Fab

  • we went learned how to scale numbers to a specific measurement
  • then Carlos wrote a few fractions on the board and asked us to solve them so we he can make sure that we new how to scale.
  • A LOT OF PEOPLE WERE NOT PAYING ATTENTION
  • so Carlos repeated himself A LOT!
  • then we went over the 2 different types of sketching dimensions. which is the running dimension and the over all dimension
  • we scaled down the dimension from last weeks survey.
