In the morning, we were making models for our USB cases. First we did actual models with cardboard. And then we made the models in sketch up. We learned how to basically transport our parts for our cases into ink scape from sketch Up. We used a pdf to show our cases from the front, back and sides. So that way we could use the laser cutter to make the parts. So basically we learned how to use sketch up and the laser cutter together.
In the afternoon, we worked on our site models. We needed the measurements for each of our groups. This time my group was made up of yeltsey ,Salim and I. We had to do a lot of things over because of lack of comprehension, but when we finally got it we were pretty happy. We had to covert the measurements into feet and then into inches. To do this we used the scale of 1/2 an inch.
