~~Morning~~

• We were introduced to a new method of making models
• We learned the reason why lap models are a good way to make models better, this method is easier because the pieces interlock into each other without having to glue the pieces together
• After we created 3 different types of lap models, some with more pieces than the other.
• i created a circle, a triangle, and a shape i'm not quiet familiar with.

~~Afternoon~~

• i brainstormed what my tree guard would look like if i was to make it
• Afterward i drew a sketch of the idea i had
• Then i measured my site model so when i construct my tree guard it would fit into my site model
• After i drew 4 pieces exactly the same and cut them out of cardboard
• Then i glued mesh at the backs of the pieces to make it look better and it can be used as a way to keep out animals and people
• Afterward i placed my tree guard in my site model and glued the pieces together.
